- 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef or ground soy for a vegetarian/vegan burger
- ½ cup (125 ml) plus 2 tbsp (15 ml) Saha Lahmajoun Marinade™
- ½ tsp (2.5 ml) salt
- 4 tbsp (60 ml) mayonnaise
- 4 hamburger buns
- Garnishes (lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, etc.)
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with ½ cup of the marinade and the salt and mix until well combined.
Divide this mixture into four equal portions and form them into patties.
Combine the mayonnaise with the remaining two tbsp of marinade and mix well, and keep cool.
On a grill set to medium high, cook the patties for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until an instant read thermometer reads at least 71C (160F).
Spread an equal portion of the mayonnaise mixture onto the top of each bun and assemble your burgers with the garnishes of your choice.
