Warm Butter Chicken Crab Dip

PRODUCT USED: Saha Butter Chicken Base 
ATTRIBUTES: Comfort food, main course, snack, dip 
PREP TIME: 10 mins ; COOKING TIME: 30 mins
SERVES: 6-8 

INGREDIENTS: 

  • 1 8oz (240 g) package cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) mayonnaise
  • 1 cup (250 ml) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 6oz (180 g) can crab meat
  • 1/4 cup Saha Butter Chicken Base
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) sliced green onions
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) ground paprika

 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 ºC
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, mozzarella, crab meat, Saha Butter Chicken Base and lemon juice and mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer this mixture evenly to a shallow baking dish  
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 mins or until lightly browned and bubbling.
  5. Garnish with green onions and paprika and serve with crostini or crackers.
