Thai Tuna Tartare

Ingredients:

- 6 oz (180 g)sushi grade tuna
- 1 tsp (5 ml) lime juice
- 1 tsp (5 ml) grape seed oil (or any neutral flavoured oil)
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) Saha Thai Yellow Curry Base™
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) red onion, finely diced
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) cucumber, finely diced
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) thinly sliced green onions, divided
- salt to taste
- Toasted baguette rounds (crostini) for serving
Directions:
- Dice the tuna into approximately 1 cm cubes.
- Dice the cucumber and onion as small as you can manage. Slice the green onions thinly on a diagonal bias.


- In a large bowl, combine the Saha Thai Yellow Curry Base™, grape seed oil and lime juice and mix well.
- Add the tuna, diced onion, cucumber and 1 tbsp of the green onions and gently toss until well combined. Taste and add salt to you liking. Move to the refrigerator to keep cool.
- Slice a baguette into rounds and toast them under a broiler for 1-2 minutes per side or until browned.
- Plate the tartare surrounded by the baguette rounds, sprinkle with the remaining green onions and serve.
